One of our first moments alone together

Rick and the men praying for Kyle. I love this picture. We are so blessed by the faithful prayers of our family and friends!

could they be any cuter?

the famous buggy! and it's surrounded by three of my favorite people

I couldn't ask for a better Dad

Kyle tripped stepping onto the stool, I had to hold him up so he didn't fall in front of everyone. It was a very fun first kiss moment, had to make people laugh with the stool and let them know we do realize I am taller than Kyle.

I love this picture. Hillary with happy tears, Jess just happy because she knows how great marriage is, but comforting Hillary. My favorite part is Sweet Vanessa. She is so tender even at that age.

The best children in the world! (I'm going to need a new picture like this now that we have Amelia to add)

"sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters... " name that movie

reception

dancing with my Dad to our song "what a wonderful world". Kyle and I managed to hold our tears back during the ceremony, but I couldn't hold them back here. I'll never forget this moment with Dad.

Bye! off to Kauai! (actually just a short drive to the front of the Hotel where we stayed the night and left for our honeymoon in the morning.

Summer is coming!

Some pictures describe a feeling perfectly without saying a word. This picture says: Summer

Strawberries

Once upon a time there were 5 ladies who were raised by a lord to passionately love all things good and hate all things evil. The lord had a very definite list of what was good and evil, and on his list of good were fresh strawberries you can buy from a farmers stand on the side of the road.

The ladies grew up in the wisdom of their father and to this day passionately love fresh fruit. Some of the ladies got married. Their husbands didn't always understand why or how they could be so passionate about things that seem somewhat insignificant; but the husbands grew and learned.

The third daughter had a husband who knew that there are some days when instead of flowers (although they all love flowers as their father taught them) she needs fresh strawberries. They make her very happy.

He bought her perfect strawberries and they lived happily ever after.
Kyle let me buy these from a stand Saturday morning

Graduation/Family Day/ Mothers Day

It's been busy for us these last few weeks (as I type that I think of my sister with 3 kids under the age of 3, suddenly I'm not feeling so busy)

This last weekend was one that really made me thankful.

Friday we went to our dear friend Serj's graduation. He was one of Kyle's roommates, the best man in our wedding and needless to say, a brother to Kyle. Such a sweet friend.

Saturday we went to pick up a hutch that we bought from a family we know that is moving. They were neighbors with my sister and so of course, we turned it into a family day.

It was WONDERFUL! I got to see two of my sisters and have fun sister moments, like us all crammed into the bathroom talking while getting ready for the nights events.

I got to see my brother in law Dan. I cannot think of a more perfect "first brother" the Lord could have brought into our family.

And last but not least we got to play with the nephews!!!!

Danny playing in the car while Kyle disassembles the hutch and packs it in the car.

just look at that face

David couldn't be bothered with taking off his helmet while drawing with chalk. "Cause aunt bek bek I'm gonna ride my bike again"

playing with the boys, and then started shooting at me!

Danny wants to help...

The boys love their Uncle "Tyle" They can't get enough time with him

They even set up snipers

Sorry for the long post, but I can't tell about the weekend and not mention Mothers Day.

We had a mothers day breakfast with the In-laws, and then went to church together. It's always funny to see people's reaction to me standing with my In-laws. I'm at least a foot taller then all of them!

Afterwards we went to a picnic in a beautiful park. It was the perfect day. Sunny, but not too hot, great food and great people. It was such a great day.

I am SO thankful for my Mother in law. We get closer all the time and Sunday was a day for me that grew my love even more for her.

Hydrangea

After our Easter service I was able to take this lovely home with me. It reminds me of my great-grandmother. One side of her house had huge hydrangea bushes, although hers were more of a blue color.

It sits on my patio and brings a little delight to my day

Saturday with Kyle

Kyle and I have had some pretty busy weekends and so when Saturday came around and we had nothing planned we were both excited.

We slept in.

When we finally got up we decided we needed to do a little exploring around our town.

We found this great little place to eat and the food was delicious!

After breakfast (ok, it was really lunch because we slept in so late) we did some more exploring and of course, wound up at Barnes and Noble because every great day has a book in it.

Our day ended with the Avengers. Kyle knew I wanted to see it and bought us tickets earlier in the week.

What a perfect day!
